I haven't seen Leo's "iconification" program yet, but the Tiny Window Manager prompts me to make a few observations. 1) Tiny windows should ideally be no higher than a title bar. That way they can be stuck in the screen's title bar and not obscure any real windows. 2) When you shrink or grow one, the new window should open at the same co-ordinates as the original, if possible. If you're growing a tiny window and it's too close to the bottom or right, it's acceptable to open the big window to the left and up. 3) Rather than having the tiny window open by clicking in the body, to support point (1) a grow gadget should be stuck over the drag bar.
