I just purchased Assempro, and would like to recommend it to anyone looking for a fast assembler. It includes an integrated assembler, editor, debugger, and help utility, and it is extremely fast. For example, a 600+ line demo from RKM that is included on the disk assembles and is ready to run ( no linking is required ) in under 15 seconds. However, I am having one problem, which may be a bug in the program. Since I've started using it, I've had several disk failures, all of them on disks I've used with Assempro. My master disk even has an error, despite the fact that I don't remember ever write-enabling it. My first (paranoid) thought was that I must have the dreaded VIRUS, but now that I think about it, it seems more likely that the problem is in Assempro. Maybe the DELAY(0) bug. If any- one else on the net has used Assempro, I would really appreciate hearing from you so I can determine what is causing my problems. Please include the date from your Assempro disk in your message, since the problem may well have been taken care of already (my disk is dated 12/22/87). - Brett Coon
