I recently upgraded to the Metacomco Assembler, version 11.0. Twice, as
fast, nice. A problem has developed, however, and I'd appreciate insight.
This command line no longer works:
assem test.asm -e test.labels -i include: -o test.o
Under V10.178 the -e option produces a label dump to "test.labels". Under
V11.0 it produces no such file. Since I have both versions it remains just
an annoyance, but I'd like a solution.
Any insight?
PS: V11.0 still appears to be written in BCPL... it has the same startup
module. Pressing CTRL-F during assembly still works, and is still not
documented. The -e option is still listed on V11.0's "?" line.
