[comp.sys.amiga] Amiga font files - What is their format?

Can someone tell me what the format of an Amiga font file is? Please,
tell me in terms of bytes and not Amiga type defs, as I am ignorant
of Amiga terminology. Unfortunately, I am a lowly PC programmer who
still thinks in a single-tasking world...
