This feature is included in the next version of A-Talk (currently named A-Talk III, let's hope it won't change again). The top keypad row and the - key (or was it +) allow a terminal program to completely emulate the VT100 keyboard. >Many local BBSs now offer IBM (what that?) graphics in their menus, >etc. Many also include IBM's ANSI Color in their menus, etc. Are >their any terminal programs that have an IBM-style font what about >the color emulation? A-Talk III includes support for IBM PC ANSI.SYS (8 colors, boldface, italics, etc...) and includes a graphics font that emulates the IBM PC character set (high bit on). This required a few changes, since the IBM ANSI is not identical to the Amiga ANSI specification. I currently use it with the OPUS BBS system, which supports the above, plus a full-screen VT100-type editor. The changes to our program were only minor, so it should not be very difficult to do it in the PD terminal programs. Availability of A-Talk III? Cannot say. Ask OXXI. -- Marco Papa Felsina Software
