I had my remote host's kermit in image server mode and did a kermit get from my Amiga, but misspelled the filename. After informing me of the file's non-existance, I clicked on DONE in the status window to make it go away (and hereby cast my vote to make the status windows go away permanently). Everything locked up at this point. I couldn't send a kermit bye or even hang up. I turned off the modem and tried to kill the program, but that wouldn't work either. I ended up warm booting the machine. Is this a bug? Has anyone else had this problem? While I'm on the subject, what is the purpose of the CONVERT feature. If its on, all letters in the file name become lower case. If it's off, all letters become upper case. I'd like a mode where the file name letters are sent in mixed case if that is what they are on the remote host. Can I do this? Thanx to all in advance.
