I am currently working on a game. I have created my graphics in Deluxe Paint, and then ran the iff files through gi. Gi translates the iff file into a data structure that I can use in my code. Is there anything analagous to gi for sound data? I have access to Sonix. Does Sonix write out iff files? If so how can I get that data into my code. I'd also like to hear from anyone who has experience with FutureSound from Applied Visions. From what I can tell from their add, I can record any sound I want, and, using their software, EASILY translate the sound into a data structure that I can just stick into my code. Is this correct?? Is there anything out there besides FutureSound that does the same thing? If so, how does it compare with FutureSound? Thanks for the help in advance... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ "...You can't always get what you want..." ~ ~ Rolling Stones ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -- *********************************************************** * David Geary, Boeing Aerospace Co., Seattle, WA * * (206)773-5249. --I disclaim everything I've ever said--* ***********************************************************
