I am almost to the point of buying an A2000 and just need the slightest little push to get me committed....but I have a few questions first. A while back on this board, there was discussion of an unpowered port. Did this ever prove to be a problem for anybody? The docs for Kickstart 1.2 are anavailable without buying the upgrade -- was that the final word? The problem with binding devices was cleared up with the latest version of something or other that should come with the Amiga. It's possible to patch put a ROMTag somewhere so the 2000 will boot up whatever Kickstart you want--this will survive warm, but not cold boots. I do believe these are the last few things I wanted to (re)confirm before parting with my hard earned money (though I expect it'll be well worth the price).
