Why not put 1MB chips on the Amiga mother board? It *appears* that the necessary address lines are there; is it because the hardware graphics/address decoding would be quadruple-mapping the addresses (meaning the same RAM would appear at every 512K multiple within the 2M address space [16-bit, of course])? Otherwise, it would be quite simple and cheap to just replace the RAM on the mother board! How about it? "Use the Source, Luke.
