Hi, I recently ordered the PD spreadsheet AnalytiCalc from Fred Fish (disk no. 104). However, whenever I try to start up AnalytiCalc on my Amiga 2000, it promptly crashes the machine. Even increasing the stack size to 100,000 doesn't help. Has anyone been able to get this program to work? It is not real obvious or prominent in the documentation, and I didn't find out about it until after the disk was released, but you MUST be in interlaced mode or it will crash the machine, sometimes all the way back to a kickstart prompt. -Fred -- # Fred Fish hao!noao!mcdsun!fnf (602) 438-3614 # Motorola Computer Division, 2900 S. I tried it on a 1000 with 2.5 MB memory, and it crashed the machine to! Did anyone get it to work? Can you detail your configuration and what you did to get it up and running? Much appreciated. -- Godfrey Lee P.O. Make sure you are using an interlaced workbench screen, and set your stack high. I use stack 50000. (Probably overkill, but...) In general, It looks incredibly powerful, but its user interface and error handling are so bad that I'm not sure it's worth the trouble, at least this version. I'd love to see it improved. > Godfrey Lee P.O. This may or may not be your problem, but be absolutely sure you are in interlace mode or it will crash the machine every time (this is on an 8Mb A1000 at least). -Fred -- # Fred Fish hao!noao!mcdsun!fnf (602) 438-3614 # Motorola Computer Division, 2900 S.
