Yes, already. The deadline for submissions for entries into the SIGGRAPH art show for 2D/3D fine art (ie. pictures) and animations is March 1, 1988. As in 17 days away. You need to get entry forms from: Lucy Petrovich, SIGGRAPH '88 Art Show, Department of Art, University of Wisconsin, 6241 Humanities Building, Madison WI 53706 (608) 437-3281 Lucy is pretty prompt about getting entry forms to you; good thing, as you don't have much time. At last years show, there were, I think, 2 or 3 Amiga produced entries into the art show, and one amiga animation (320 x 200 yet !) in the film and video show. I noticed that one of the amiga entries was done on a lowly (72 dpi) Canon ink jet printer, so you don't have to be Cranston Csuri to enter. Entering is free, and each person may enter three times. They probably arn't interested in those digitized Hustler photos (send them to me instead), but they are real big on amorphous blue solids and mandrils texture mapped onto teapots, although the latter is getting a bit old. -- "He tried to do his best, but he could not" richard@gryphon.CTS.COM {ihnp4!scgvaxd!cadovax, rutgers!marque, codas!ddsw1} gryphon!richard
