With all the experience out there in Netland, I thought I would pose a
question to the masses for some suggestions.
Point 1: I have an Amiga 1000 with no desire to upgrade to the 2000.
Point 2: I am planning to buy to 2000 and 1 from ASDG when it comes out.
Question: Is there a way for me to purchase a hard drive controller and
40 meg drive NOW and use NOW and place into the 2000 & 1 later.
I have been looking a purchasing the A2090 (CBM), some sort of one slot
expansion unit (cheap no passthru needed), and a 40 meg drive. I plan to get
rid of the 1 slot expansion unit when I get the 2001. Is my logic missing out
on something? What would power the harddrive? the Amiga bus?
Any help would be greatly welcomed, and I would like to get the harddrive
soon, if possible?
