[comp.sys.amiga] Monitor to Amiga 2000

tope@enea.se (Tommy Petersson) (02/16/88)

I have a question to the net:

I'm buying an Amiga 2000 and are also planning to by a Bridgecard.
(think I'm going to wait for the AT card to finally arrive, even
if it's taking a long time yet)

The problem is if I want to run PC programs with EGA colour output.

Of course I could add an EGA card and an EGA monitor, if I had room
for two monitors, but are there any monitors that could handle both?
Some sort of Multi-sync monitor? If the extra EGA card could be left
out as well, it would be even better (cheaper).

Perhaps I should also say that I will use the PC/AT part as little
as possible, so a software solution with very slow screen updates
is not terrifying. It's just that there are some programs with only
EGA support, and maybe one of them is the one I want to run...

I would also be thankful for suggestions about using Amiga with
video camera/recorders. Which equipment, programs to use if I want
to add text to a video program, output quality, difficulties etc?
Or if I just want to play with the pictures coming from a video
camera and add something to it?

Thanks in advance.
