[comp.sys.amiga] How do I use the function keys from vt100.init

     Hello.  I am using my amiga as a terminal to our unix box and would
like to set the f keys to type in commonly uses commands.  I have edited
the vt100.init file in the s directory.  I currently have the line :
f 1     "ps -ef | more"
     but when I press the unshifted f1 key on the amy I keep getting OP
on my screen.  From the doc I read with the vt100r2.7 this seems correct.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?   Thank you in advance.  Please
