I ran into Jeff Arnold, president of Golden Hawk Technology, at the BCS Amiga meeting last night. They've got a new MIDI inferface coming out for the A500 and A2000 that does serial port pass-though, and has a switch for changing the MIDI THRU to a second MIDI OUT. I didn't ask him when or how much, sorry. They've also got a widget that you can mount on the back of your A2000 to give it 105% A1000 serial port compatibility. All the power is there, etc. The extra 5% is the audio filter cutoff pin, which isn't available on the A1000. Installs in seconds, no soldering, and costs about twenty bucks. He said they've had it around for "three or four months" but just now are packaging them up. I don't know ship dates for anything, you'll have to call or write. Golden Hawk Technology, 427-3 Amherst St, Suite 389, Nashua NH 03063. They changed their number recently (they moved but have the same address) and I don't know what it is. I don't work for GHT, don't get any money/merchandise from them, etc... I don't need their merchandise anyway; I have an A1000! ..Bob -- Bob Page, U of Lowell CS Dept. page@swan.ulowell.edu ulowell!page "I don't know such stuff. I just do eyes." -- from 'Blade Runner'
