Well, its finally time to get a hard disk for my 500!!!!! (sounds of
revolution in the street) Problem is, I don't know what one to get.
I want as few problems as possible, and one that will work with memory
expansions.
1. I've heard of the WEDGE for hooking up pc drives and would
be interested in hearing from folks who've used it.
2. I've also heard of the Supra-drive and am interested in how
well it does/doesn't work.
3. Is it possible to use an expansion box like the one from
Pacific Peripherals, get an A2000 disk controller and
hook up a disk drive that will be autobootable?
4. Will the fast file system run on a hard disk attached to
a a500?
5. Do any of these work on a bus pass-through, like through
a memory expansion box?
6. Is there anything else available that I haven't heard of?
