There will be choral concert Sunday March 4th and Sunday March 11th of Die Jahreszeiten (the Seasons) by Joseph Haydn. The concert will be provided by The Masterworks Choral and (professional) Orchestra. This is a light-hearted work providing musical vignettes of typical events associated with the changing of the seasons throughout the year. Masterworks is considered to be one of the top Bay Area Choral groups and has toured extensively in Europe. Particulars: both concerts will be at 8:00 PM at March 4th at San Mateo Performing Arts Center 600 North Delaware Street, San Mateo March 1th at St. Mary`s Cathedral 1111 Gough Street, San Francisco Soloists will be: Luana DeVol, soprano Daniel Parkerson, tenor Lee Velta, baritone and best of all, the admission is free!
