[comp.sys.amiga] follwup on problem with transactor disk

RICK@QUCDNAST.BITNET (Rick Pim, The Bill The Cat Memorial Comput...) (02/29/88)

As a followup to my problem with the Transactor disk, I called
Transactor. They said that they had had several problem reports re the
'warrior cycles' program, so I certainly am not alone, because the
reported problems were all the same as mine. But

Also, I've heard from two other people, one of whom typed in the source
code, one who had the disk. Neither experienced problems. This seems to
indicate that PART of the distribution was bad, and corrupt in a
consistent way - one that tangled somehow with the disk controller.
(Is what the guy at Transactor said. Beats me.) I would have thought
this was unlikely. Or am I confused?
