We just received a CMI VI-2000 video interface for our Amiga 2000. This board goes in the video slot and provides color composite output (for VCRs), chroma/luma outputs (for use with a Commodore 1700, 1800, 1900 series monitors) and optionally an RF modulator for interfacing directly with a color TV. We got the version without the RF modulator for $59. The optional RF modulator adds another $10 to the price. A jumper allows use on PAL machines. Installation took just a minute. Preliminary tests with a good-quality VCR are very good. Finally I can put my A-2000 demos on videotape.
