Well, after sifting through replies directly to me and those posted up to the net, it appears that my suspicions were confirmed : there is NO good Pascal compiler for the Amiga. This is very disappointing, because Pascal (along with Ada) is one of the major academic languages used both here in the UK and in America. I originally raised the Pascal question because I refuse to program in C (far too unstructured for my liking and all the compilers I've ever seen have been extremely user-hostile) and I have a fair hatred of Modula-2 (and that godamn awful AmigaBASIC). I think I'll stick to my Macintosh (Turbo Pascal) and Archimedes (BASIC V and ARM code) for programming.... Richard K.
