Recently a program of mine named SNIPIT was released in comp.binaries.amiga. I had nothing to do with this, although I greatly appreciate seeing my efforts spread. Unfortunately, after having studied the file sizes of the posted files, it appears that the version of SNIPIT released is a BAD one which originally existed in PLINK's AmigaZone for all of 16 hours. This 16 hour version of SNIPIT has a bug in it, and you have a random chance of GURUing if you use it. In all, I recall that 11 total downloads of the bad SNIPIT occurred before (Zone ChairDroid) Harv Laser and I could coordinate removing and replacing the file with a repaired version. I am sending the comp.binaries.amiga moderator the corrected version, exacly as it now appears on PLINK. Additionally, the poster did not remark that the README file mentions that this program was originally released on PLINK as shareware. Please don't flame me if you avoid this stuff. -scott
