I had a problem like this on my 1000 when running from RAM (VD0:, and yes, I'm a registered user!)...seems that an increase in the stack solved the problem. This was using the standard icon, so I guess it's stack size is also wrong...Anyway, try increasing the stack...What I did was to use the shell (thanks matt/steve) and alias dmcs to increase the stack, set the default directory on my new WEDGE system (more on this to follow), then run dmcs...works like a champ! scott. (Since this is comming out of dec, all std disclaimers apply!!)
