I've had this question dwelling in my mind for a while and waited until now to ask it hoping some one else would. I own a Brother M1509 printer which has a wide carrage, and was wondering if there is a way to print out an iff picture and use the whole page rather than just the 8.5 x 11 size Lance Holmes

If the driver writer either hard-coded it to a maximum of 13.6 inches OR soft-coded it so that it sets a maximum of 13.6 inches (when you select wide carriage in Preferences) then you are ok. Otherwise you'll have to use the PrtDrvGen program to play with the 'MaxXDots' settings in the printer specific data structure. Alternatively if you have a binary file editor (like filezap or newzap) you could 'disect' the file and change the number yourself (this is a bit more difficult). Try selecting a wide carriage, margins of 1 and 136, 66 lines, and pica in preferences. Good luck.
