Does anybody out there know what is the cheapest ( and most reliable ) 512K RAM expansion for the A1000 - and where I can get one ? Jon. (Wise saying - 'Never argue with a stupid person').

Well.... The CHEAPEST is to use the hack described in Amazing Computer a year ago. I have a few friends that did it and it worked just fine. Just buy a few memory chips and stuff, open the case, and install. I wouldn't do this if you're squemish... total cost should be under $100. As for other cheap expansions, you could look into the Insider Board by Michigan software. Well.... The MOST RELIABLE is to get an expansion box and a memory board. I'd recommend a zorro-2 box with a separate power supply. I don't know if you can get just .5 Meg this way, 2 Meg is MUCH nicer though.. :^) ========== IBM is a Division of Sirius Cybernetics Corporation "their fundamental design flaws are completely hidden by their superficial design flaws." - "So Long And Thanks For All The Fish" Lyle Levine: Paths -> ihnp4!wuphys!lel uunet!wucs!wuphys!lel
