[comp.sys.amiga] Booting off the network

Does anybody know if 1.3 (or 1.4) will support booting from a network?

1.3 will support booting from any device that has the autoboot code in
ROM on it. That means the manufacturer of your network card has to add
those ROMs with the appropriate code (Ameristar is looking into this I
believe). It also means that if you have the appropriate cassette interface
you could boot from that, now isn't that special :-) ? You know, I just
realized that the Amiga can't read cassettes made on the PET, Vic-20, or
C-64. Talk about lousy support, I doubt if I will ever buy another Commodore
computer. :-)

These opinions are my own and no one elses, but you knew that didn't you.
