[comp.sys.amiga] AmigaMail articles on V1.3

papa@pollux.usc.edu (Marco Papa) (03/30/88)

I just got the latest issue of AmigaMail (Jan/Feb. 88) and if you want a
sneak preview of Kickstart & Workbench 1.3 this is something you want to
read. The issue is marked "PRELIMINARY INFORMATION" in large block
letters, but it stills will give you a good idea of what is coming.

This is just a list of the major articles:

"The Amiga A2620 Accelerator Card" by Dave Haynie

"A2024: High Resolution Monochrome Monitor" by Jim Mackraz

"Introduction to 1.3 IEEE Double Precision Libraries" by Dale Luck

"PAL and Audio" by Carolyn Scheppner

"Your Manufacture Number" by Dan Baker

"V1.3 Preferences" by Eric Cotton and Dave Berezowski

"Programmer Notes on Calling the V1.3 Printer Device" by Dave Berezowsky

"1.3 Fast File System" by Steve Beats

"Changes to Printer Device for V1.3" by Dave Berezowsky

Commercial Developers got all of the above info with the V1.3 Gamma Release
(though not as nicely printed and bound). On the other hand, they also got
some other V1.3 stuff that it is NOT described in the AmigaMail article.
Of course, I can't tell you about this one :-)
