After having seen AWorld's hardware buyer's guide where the specs on
the 2000-n-1 box say something like 3 Z-2 slots and 2 Z-1 slots, howmany
people want the Z-1 slots? I would buy a 2000-n-1 if it had ONLY the
Z-2 slots since I don't have any slot expansions for my A1000.

How about it, any other takers for a cheaper 2000-n-1 box (without
Z-1 slots)?

Well, if you're like me..... uh.... scratch that; Marco's
established that I'm from Mars or Gallifrey or something.

If you've invested in expansion hardware as I have (i.e. ASDG
stuff), then having Zorro I compatibility means that you won't have to sell
off the hardware in the ASDG cage. It also means that you'll be able to
take advantage of ASDG's SDP disk controller right away, since ASDG claims
that it will available in Zorro I format first.

If you're looking for just Zorro-II slots, I believe CSA makes a
goodie called the HighRise that has 2000, as well as PC slots (I think).
They also have the magic slot to plug their 14 MHz '020 card in. I'm told
this isn't cheap, though....

Actually I sincerely believe you MIGHT be from another galaxy. But indeed
the cape looks as if it is of the "martian" type. So I am not sure :-)
