I have a suspicion that the recently posted HandShake program may be flawed with regard to its Kermit file transfer implementation. I've been using VT100 R2.8 to ship files from our Unix PC-7300 to my Amiga (currently about 3 feet apart, connected via null modem) without problem. I thought I'd give HandShake a try (yes, I set 8 bit mode) and downloaded some ".zoo" files. In my usual zeal to clean up after myself, I deleted the originals on the PC-7300, only to find out that the copies delivered to my Amiga were quite corrupted. Other than that minor inconvenience, HandShake appears to be quite a nice terminal emulator :-). Though I find the terminal emulation to be quite nice (the smooth scroll feature is impressive!), I think I'll stick with VT100. Mark -- < Mark R.
