Recently, I posted a couple of slightly caustic remarks. I'd like
to follow them up if I may.
ASDG And Their Stuff

My comments were largely ones of impatience, not a statement of
their manufacturing quality. I'm the first to state that ASDG's claim,
"Rock Solid," is accurate. Their stuff works all the time. They test the
living $#!+ out of it. I own their Mr. C and their 2M card. I haven't had
a *single* problem with it, except maybe that the rubber feet on the bottom
of the Mr. C fell off.
My complaints were primarily that they've announced the 2000-n-1 for
a long time now, and have yet to see one for sale. Eric Lavitsky recently
announced they hope to have it ready by July (?) AmiExpo.
I will be looking.
CSA and Commodore

After talking to a number of other people, I have since formed the
new opinion that the CSA people I was talking to were blowing smoke.
Understand that the people I was speaking to seemed perfectly competent, and
I had no to reason to believe they were feeding me lines.
I always have, however, found it curious that CSA claims it is
impossible to reliably create a 14 MHz 68020 card to replace the internal
68000, when Ronin is doing precisely that (mind you, you have to ground the
pimmikin out of it).
Life would be so much more simple if everyone simply told the truth.
