[ Was the line eater fooled on April 1st too? ] Well, what is so absurd about the concept? Is it not possible to have a process running at a higher priority than the Workbench and to intercept IDCMP messages from the menu selections? How about a version of the window opener (using _menu_ OPEN, not double click) which would even provide default icons? It would not have to be fast, but only work. I only use the Workbench for organizing my drawers, not for normal use. Having default icons would make reorganizing directories and moving files from floppy to RAM: and back to floppy much easier. I am even willing to write it, as long as I get some hints and encouragement, and no one proves that it is blatently stupid to try. ( Like many others, I too, fell for this joke ) -ethan -- Ethan R.
