Does anyone here have an Amiga program to unpack files with the .Z suffix added? There are lots of these files around and I can't get them unpacked. Source is nice to have, but I really need an executable binary.

It is a Lempl-Ziv-Welch compression futility for compressing/decompressing things. The .Z is characteristic of it. I _think_ the compress with the news distribution would fix it, but don't quote me. terry@wsccs

Sorry I can reach the people that e-mail-ed me the quuestion but the answer is : As far as I know the only way to get Z (and any of the other UNIX-like tools bundled with it) is by getting the MANX C compiler package. Please e-mail ...!well!manx for more info. I am NOT a spokesman for MANX. -- Marco -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= uucp:...!pollux!papa BIX:papa ARPAnet:pollux!papa@oberon.usc.edu "There's Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Diga!" -- Leo Schwab [quoting Rick Unland] -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
