[comp.sys.amiga] AMIGA 3000 ... the real thing

lgreen@pnet01.cts.com (Lawrence Greenwald) (04/07/88)

An addition to my previous posting.

We asked questions on compatability but the people there were from the
marketing area. The engineering people had to leave and THEY had a flight
due to leave very soon after they got there, so we had to make it brief.

The only thing they could show were a few pictures which were probably in
interlace mode. The key was NO FLICKER on the monitor. Apparently as far
as the system can see, ALL MEMORY IS CHIP RAM.

Please bear with me as ALL THIS IS VERY PRELIMINARY, since much can change
(and will) between now and release and I'm typing this stuff from what I
can accuarately remember.
