Does anyone know the rules for what things intuition will send you? I cannot figure this out at all. Specifically, what do you see at position 49 or lower in the input device chain? When Workbench is active, you see mice, but not keys. You see a 12 when workbench becomes active, and an 11 when it becomes inactive; I haven't seen an 11 at any other time (I'm only looking 1/10 of a second, but this is pretty stable and predictable). You see RAWKEYS whenever a CON: window is active, whether in raw mode or con mode. If you get a message of class 2 (raw mouse), with relative mouse set in the qualifiers, how do you tell if it is relative to the upper corner of the window, or relative to the last position the mouse was in? (Below 49 you get the first, above 51 you get the second. However, when a mouse button is pressed, it is always (I think) the second). Does anything in the message indicate this? If I feed a message to intuition, which will it expect?) Etc.
