Has anyone out there tried to use OnLine! v2.10 with an A2090 / ST-506 drive setup? My setup is A2000, 2 Meg Starboard and adapter, 20 Meg 3.5" MiniScribe hard disk, C. Itoh Prowriter printer, and USRobotics 2400 baud modem. I have been running OnLine! out of RAM: for over a year with few problems. However, when I set up my hard drive and tried to run it, (insert weird music here...) Straaange things happened. If the name OnLine! is not ASSIGNed to the directory, I get the cannot load - insufficient free store message with 2.5 Meg free including 300K CHIP! If the OnLine!: directory is ASSIGNed, then I get the file is not an object module message. If I dont mount the hard disk, I can still run OnLine! fine (as now.) If the hard disk is mounted, I get the same errors even running it out of RAM:. Has anyone out there had any problems like this? I even tried replacing the program from my original disk with no success. Do any of you famous (or not so famous) Amiga experts out there have any clues? So far, no other program has noticeably glitched like this. Thanks, Jim Pritchett .PS. If anyone has tried to reach me in the last 3 or 4 weeks, my net access (killer) was down. It should be back up (I hope) reliably now. Please resend any mail or messages (by mail) from that time period. I'm sorry about the inconvenience.
