[comp.sys.amiga] comp.sys.amiga and comp.sys.amiga.tech

dillon@CORY.BERKELEY.EDU (Matt Dillon) (04/06/88)

Of the last 159 articles posted to comp.sys.amiga.tech,
87 of them were posted to BOTH groups.... almost half.

NOW that the group exists officially, please post to just ONE.
That's the whole point of having separate groups. If you are
not sure which one to post to, then post to comp.sys.amiga .

Remember, not everyone has RN. And YES, the news reader I
use *does* remove cross posted articles from tech.

Could this be because comp.sys.amiga.tech has been an official group
for about 10 minutes and many sites didnt get .tech ?

I agree that x-posting between the two should be kept at a minimum
but I'd give it a month or two more before I'd start complaining.

But when it is time to complain, let me know. I'm real good at it.
And it pisses me off too.
