(I was really hoping wIconify would eliminate the need for an interlaced workbench, but ...) Bug #1: If you move a workbench icon around, release, and move it again, it moves. If you move a wIcon around, release, and try to move it again, it opens. Bug #2: For some reason, exanding a FACC window (facc-1) that was shrunk causes it to expand. Bug #3: iconifying a workbench window closes it. #2 is nothing, #1 is somewhat anoying, #3 is slightly more annoying. There are a couple of more bugs that I have found. It is really easy to cause it not to install itself with the message unable to find workbench screen. THe really nasty bug is that if you try to move an icon like a disk icon through a window the machine locks up tight. IF you know what not to do though, it is still a really nice program. This is not a bug; it is a feature. It is mentioned in the documentation; the rationale is that since workbench windows already have their own icons (disks and drawers) there is little use in iconifying them. Perhaps the most annoying bugs in wIconify are its tendency to guru the machine (I think when iconifying a window when another is being opened at the same time) and the tendency of the "Iconify" menu option to disappear completely from the Workbench menu. I still think it's the best thing since PopCLI, though. > : Michael Gersten uunet.uu.net!ucla-an.ANES\ Michael Portuesi / Carnegie Mellon University ARPA/UUCP: mp1u+@andrew.cmu.edu BITNET: rainwalker@drycas "Memories are uncertain friends, when recalled by messages" -- OMD, "Messages"

As a new netter here, I have a few questions after reading the past couple hundred entries. One, what is the alt-alt-shift-shift-insert a disk trick? What is the current rumor about WB 1.3? And what is a B2000? Thank you for responding and being patient. Also, has anyone found some good scientific graphing programs? Scot
