The context of the above quote implied that it was a real bitch to do.
We have an Amiga NFS'ed to a Sun 3/280 and haven't had any problems
setting it up or maintaining it. This is with the Ameristar package.

Whoops! I didn't think I implied that it was a bitch. I sure didn't
mean to if I did.

I thought I said that it should be no harder than running mixed Suns
on the same ethernet: i.e., that the hardest thing this adds is making
sure that the NFS clients get the binaries they want. Is that about
right, Bob?

On the other hand, at one point we asked Sun for something, and they
effectively tolds us "See Figure 1." This resulted in us running Sun
3.2 binaries on 3.0 clients. That reference may have made it seem like
it was a bitch. Running out-of-version binaries is *not* a good thing
to do, and easy to avoid so long as you don't ask Sun to fix
something.

Hi...
Rutgers just got its new 2000 with a bridge card... I would like
to put it on our ethernet, but I dont thing I can get the $$$ for a
amiga specific ethernet card. Since we have lots of IBM pc ethernet
cards sitting around, I was wondering if it is possible to hook up the
amiga via the PC card.
If this is not possible what choices are there for ethernet for the
amiga. Please tell me of any experience and comments about venders
and their products. I would specificly like AmigaNFS and the
standard telnet/ftp stuff.
I have SLIP, but find it unreliable over 9600 buad... and it does
not have all the features that I want anyway...

					Thanks...
