OK, here's the latest in my continuing A2090/ST251 problems... The hard disk
wouldn't "prep" for the longest time, finally, without changing anything,
it worked. OK, hey, time to format. The format hangs on cylinder 178.
Then it hangs in cylinder 16. Then it hangs on cylinder 2 a few times.
I try control-amiga-amiga and power cycle reboots. Finally, I just kept
trying until the machine gave up and formatted the thing all the way
through. It has been working, apparently OK, since yesterday - use has
been pretty intensive.
Also, to the guy who gets the apparently random read/write errors that
go away after clicking "retry", I got them also when I had my first
A2090 controller. After about two weeks the controller died completely
and I got another one. The problem went away and it all worked almost
flawlessly, at least from January until this week when I lost the contents
of dh0:
