[comp.sys.amiga] Status of the .tech group ...?

Anyone (Bob ?) know what the current status of the ".tech" group is?

I know it overwhelmingly passed the vote test, but I mean "Officially".

Specifically, has Spaf (or other "authorized" person) sent out a
creategroup message?  I've not seen any indication of this in news.groups,
and since our site (believing in freedom) has always carried it, I dunno
if one's come in or not.

Until this happens, many sites can't/won't carry it.

An official 'newgroup' message was sent out a few days ago.  Every site
should have comp.sys.amiga.tech by now.

Interestingly enough, a person who is generating substantial traffic
(a lot more heat than light, too) in comp.sys.amiga.tech voted
against its creation.
