o me droogies... The other day, after going to Sears to purchase some shovels and rakes et al., I wandered out into the main body of the suburban shopping mall to which the searing source of implementi destructibus is attached; It (Vallco, if you are a bay aryan) is the most hideously banal suburban mall shapeless colorless odorless monstrosity I have ever been lost in, but the worst, most incredibly awful part was the muzak version of Creedence's 'Up around the bend'; When I was a little mincemeat, (long, long ago, before 1977) This song was one of the Songs; The guitar still makes my bones wobble..... I always was a sucker for utopian fantasies. Anyway, there was THAT RIFF gooped out by the Seconal Strings Orchestra, and it was LOUD and I was LOST and I couldn't get away from it! You nearly lost your mincemeat, fans... It was all I could do to get away with only one pair of polyester designer jeans and a smurf doll set... Now I realize why the middle class is such a characterless swamp; It's hanging around in that maelstrom of slerrm. Muzak eat minds. In future, if I go to a shopping mall I bring my earplugs. mr.mincemeat {hplabs, menlo70, zehntel, sdcrdcf}!sytek!toms
