What happened to comp.binaries(or sources).amiga? Nothing has come over in a couple of weeks. And it seems that everyone keeps sending to the moderators. -- Tony -- **************** Insert 'Standard' Disclaimer here: OOP ACK! ***************** * Tony Parkhurst --> hp-sdd!artecon!adp (or) hp-sdd!artecon!adp@nosc.ARPA * * "One lawyer can steal more than a hundred men with guns." -- The Godfather * *******************************************************************************

"where are the binaries and sources groups?": The moderators announced that they were going to stop posting until they could isolate and somehow fix the system/software that was delivering their postings truncated to a large minority of the net. Apparently they haven't succeeded yet. "why is everybody still mailing stuff to them?": Since the moderators were doing a great job until this problem surfaced, most folks have been kind enough to spare the discussion groups source or binary postings (except for a few folks on permanent ego trips who feel like the rest of the net just can't survive another moment without seeing the poster's name on another piece of code). Also, posted to the discussion groups, the sources or binaries don't end up in the archives like the ones mailed to the moderators, which is another reason to send the stuff to the moderators by preference. "when will they be back?": It would be a kindness if the moderators would post a status report every other day or so, so we'd know their site hasn't been nuked or something, though. ;-) It's not like that would be a noticeable ripple in addition to the present traffic in this group.
