(Please excuse any inaccurate terminology, I'm not a hardware person, per se.) Which, if any, expansion boards for the '1000 have the following features: o A faster processor (say 14 mHZ), possibly 68020. o A fast-RAM duplicate of the video RAM - writes go to the real video RAM and the duplicate, reads read from the duplicate, hence are faster. Do any of the '500 or '2000 boards have a fast-RAM duplicate of the ROM? (ROM is copied to RAM at startup, further ROM accesses are intercepted and use the RAM copy.) I know there are such features available for the Mac. ========= The opinions expressed above are mine. "I shed, therefore, I am." -- ALF
