Yeah, I know, I should have posted this a week ago, but, what with one thing and another... Anyway, enough excuses, right? Yeah, I thought so... For those people who have ftp access to the Amiga archives here at Purdue, I have good news. After thousands of requests (well, okay, not *that* many, but quite a few, anyway) we've placed all the tested, yet (due to the recent unpleasantness) unposted submissions in an open directory in the sources archive. Yep, that's right, even if we can't post the submissions (actually, we're going to start up again--we *think* the problem's been solved), those who can use ftp can get at them. The path to the new directory is (are you ready for this? Sitting down?): news/comp/sources/amiga/Tested Happy ftp-ing, eh? -- Brent Woods, Co-Moderator, comp.{sources,binaries}.amiga USENET: ...!j.cc.purdue.edu!ahh ARPANET: ahh@j.cc.purdue.edu BITNET: PODUM@PURCCVM PHONE: +1 (317) 743-8421 USNAIL: 320 Brown St., #406 / West Lafayette, IN 47906

It is locked and will stay that way to protect ourselves from anybody who might take it upon themselves to send us some pirated code.. wouldn't want to end up distributing it before we had a chance to check it. Just thouhgt I'd mention it to avoid any confusion that might result. -- Pat White (co-moderator comp.sources/binaries.amiga) ARPA/UUCP: j.cc.purdue.edu!ain BITNET: PATWHITE@PURCCVM PHONE: (317) 743-8421 U.S. Mail: 320 Brown St. apt. 406, West Lafayette, IN 47906
