[comp.sys.amiga] Has anyone written device drivers for the WEDGE?

[ for all you do... this line's for you ]

Has anyone out there in net.land written _any_ drivers for IBM interfaces other
than hard drives for use on the WEDGE? I talked with the person that Dave
Allen has for tech support (sorry, I can't remember your name), and, I was told
that you just read and write to the registers on the card as byte wide
addressess with the following formula...

0xEA0000 + (IBM I/O slot address * 2) + 1

Thus, a disk controller with an IBM base address of 0x320 could be accessed
at 0xEA0641 and up, by ODD addresses (since the WEDGE is 8 bits wide)

I am preparing to embark on writing some drivers for common IBM cards, such
as a "multi-function" I/O card: 2 extra serial ports, 1 extra parallel port,
IBM game I/O port, and a clock calendar. As soon as my Lattice 4.0 shows
up, I want to get to work. The purpose of this posting (since it has been
somewhat muddied) is to solicit help from anyone who has written device
drivers for serial cards and the like, and _specifically_ from anyone who has
written _any_ device drivers for the WEDGE in particular.

Thanks,
-ethan
