Thanks for all of the replies I received about my SupraDrive. I did get all
kinds of suggestions:
1) clean the contacts on all of the cards.
2) check all of the power supply voltages while everything is on.
3) use a fan
4) don't use more than one expansion product at a time.
Since my last posting, I received a new SupraDrive 20M from Supra Corp (no
charge) and also a free fan to keep the thing cool. I have been using the
thing for two days straight with every expansion device I own plugged into
my Amiga.
I have: an extra floppy, an aMega 1Mb ram card, genlock, SupraDrive 20MB,
and of course the monitor.
1) the contacts are clean.
2) all power supply voltages are equal or above 5 volts and 12 volts.
3) there is now a fan in the Supra
4) Screw this idea. I will use all of my expansion products all of the time
except for the genlock.
as far as the last two days go: I HAVE HAD ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS. :-)
I hope this continues...
