I am going nuts over the printer drivers in WB1.2 (33.61) I made some pictures a few weeks ago, consisting of nothing but text, and lines (adventure maps actually). I printed these files out on a borrowed Apple ImageWriter II, and the font came out without being stretched or distorted. When I used the same techniques to produce more maps (the original map run got trashcanned right after printing), the pictures looked very strange on my Star Gemini 10x. This is _not_ a print head/ physical printer problem, but a DumpRastPort problem. I remember someone posting a few 1.3 printer drivers for the 1.2 printer.device about 2 months ago. Were any of these drivers for the Epson? If so, I would much appreciate a copy of one. Will WB1.3 support the Star Gemini line of printers? The print quality is very nice (considering the printer costs <$200), but the Epson driver has just a few too many strangenesses for me. Will 1.3 drivers dump at 1 pixel = 1 dot? I do NOT want the printer to try and figure aspect ratio for me. I DO want WYSIWYG for my printers. I realize that this is very difficult to make transparent (unless you only have onne printer type, like Apple ;-), but I don't give a damn about transparancy, only functionality.
