[comp.sys.amiga] Current Dir of WB Window

I'm asking this for a friend here in Phx:

Is there a way to determine the current directory of whatever Workbench
window happens to be selected? Is so, how do you do it?

A further definition of the problem is in order (even I didn't get it at
first): If you have a disk window open and selected, a key sequence will
run a program which will use the directory which the selected window
represents. If you have several draws open, use only the pathname of the
currently selected draw.

I hope this gets the problem across, but if not, feel free to ask.


BTW - ..amiga.tech doesn't get to the ARPA net, so don't post replies
      there.
