0 Is anyone out there using UNIX in a hospitable environment for patient registry, medical records, appointment systems, and accounting? The use of relational data base systems under UNIX which are suitable for the above and for epidemiological studies are also of interest. In the Cancer Clinic environment, radio-therapy treatment planning systems written in Pascal or C would be of special interest. I received this request from Dr. Bill Reid of our local University Hospital and Cancer Clinic who is desperately interested in setting up a UNIX system instead of RSX11 !!!!
