This article appears in the current issue (May 1988) of ESD: The Electronic
System Design Magazine. ESD usually has good stuff on graphics and imaging
computer systems. This article talks about the IKS (Imaging Kernel System)
and the associated hardware coprocessor that performs the tasks of IKS.

The best part is that the implementation is an Amiga 2000! This is the kind
of exposure that the Amiga needs, I think. The serious graphics magazines
are finally beginning to show stuff about the Amiga. This makes the third
one in as many months! Computer Graphics Today [big trade magazine], Comptuer
Graphics World [publication of the NCGA] and now ESD! Things are getting
better, my friends.
