[comp.sys.amiga] DMOUSE problem with interlace ... will post update

dillon@CORY.BERKELEY.EDU (Matt Dillon) (05/11/88)

Sorry about that. There appears to be a bug with DMOUSE when in
interlace mode.... I'll post an update in a sec. This time it
will be binary only (people can email me for the source) ...

Also, if windows open, close, or get otherwise rearranged without mouse
intervention, the mouse reappears and does not blank again. Similar to
the screens bug I posted earlier, but with windows.

Sigh, got two reports of this, and it happens to me too. However,
it doesn't happen often and really isn't any trouble ... not serious enough
to post an update to 1.03 anyway. The only thing one could possibly worry
about is the mouse staying on and burning the CRT (assuming you leave your
Amiga on all day). This will not happen with 1.03 because the mouse is
re-blanked when the screen-blanker activates, and by then the system is
supposedly 'idle'. And, of course, 1.03 also fixes the interlace and
endcli-in-workbench-startup problems, as well as being a lot smaller.
